I’m here to announce the CASTING CALL for a STUDENT FILM for EICAR PARIS with the project titled ‘I’ll Go With You’. We’re looking for actors interested in playing the main MALE role of NICO ALI. Below are the details for the project. Project length: Short film (9 mins) Production Type: Student Production location: Ile-de-France Production company: EICAR Director: Olivia Michaud Audition Location: Zoom / EICAR (8 Avenue des Arrimeurs, 93210 Saint-Denis) Key dates: - Auditions: 1st week & 2nd week of June - Callbacks: 3rd Week of June - Shooting: 2nd week of July LOGLINE: Nico, a seventeen-year-old boy starts a new job as a hash deliverer in the slums of Ile de France, until his father pays a visit when he comes out of prison. Character breakdown; Nico REMY(17): From a young age, Nico is involved in hash dealing, hoping that will get him closer to his absent father. He looks forward to the release of his father from prison and the chance of reuniting his family again. Requirements: - Bilingual (English & French Fluent) *The shortfilm is in French. English is only needed because we are an international crew and our director will direct you in english.* *Please note that this is a film school production, and we are not allowed to pay the actors. This being said, we are not able to offer you a salary. However, what we do offer is your meals, metro transportation, and a professionally produced project for your personal reel, as well as the opportunity to make more connections and work with individuals who will soon make their own films.
