Then “Ma Langue au Chat” has the perfect opportunity in store for you! We are an up-and-coming theatre company from France. We specialise in teaching English as a foreign language to children, bringing fun and excitement to language learning. We will soon be performing our specially designed shows in French schools, and we’re looking for 3 talented English native-speakers to join the team. What does the job entail? You will perform our specially designed shows at French schools, teaching children and young people between the ages of 6 and 18 years old. You will provide small workshops to pupils, teaching them English language skills. You will travel from school to school across the whole country: Lorraine, Champagne, Paris, Brittany, Normandie, Touraine, Toulouse, Marseille, Lyon, etc. This will take place between Wednesday, 23rd March until Friday, 10th June 2022. French language skills are preferred but not necessary. You must fulfil the legal requirements to work with children. Driving licence needed + SOLID driving experience. !! Rehearsals: 23rd-26th March 2022 in Nancy Tour: 28th March-10th June 2022 in France Paid : Total wages are 2900€ + 40€ trav sub to reach rehearsal facility + food at school Car & cell phone provided for the team Accomodation in spacious Airbnbs (no small hotel rooms) VERY IMPORTANT: Flexible and easy-going personalities needed! Touring (i.e living, working, travelling 24/7 with 2 other people) requires a certain amount of flexibility and open-mindedness.
